Divyenndu Sharma made a name for himself in the industry after playing the exemplary role of Munna Tripathi in the web series Mirzapur. 1. Divyenndu was an average student in school. With a score of 49% in 10th and 84% in 12th, he completed his graduation in Political Science from Delhi.
2. He was always interested in acting and used to take part in the culturals very actively. He also used to mimic actors for fun and later when he got serious about his career, with the help of his sister he went to Pune and did a diploma in acting from FTII. During his stay there he also got chances of shooting in ads with agencies like Birla Sun Life, Virgin Mobile, etc.
3. He faced a lot of struggles in his early days and also says that he just needed 32Rs. Per day to satisfy his hunger.
4. His first screen appearance was a side role in Madhuri Dixit’s comeback film Aaja Nachle where he was not given any attention.
5. He started his career with Bollywood with Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011. He also won the Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer-Male for his performance in the movie.
6. He dropped Sharma from his name and become Divyenndu in 2019. While the media said that it was because of numerology, Divyenndu revealed that it was done to remove the cast divisons.
7. After acting in comedy movies he decided to experiment a bit with his script selection. He then did a supporting role in two main-stream commercial movies- Toilet-Ek Prem Katha and Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
8. Divyenndu in a few of his interviews also said that he wanted to play gangster roles and was also very anxious to play them.
9. Very soon he was seen performing next to Pankaj Tripathi in Mirzapur and a got a huge fan-following.
10. He also appeared in the movie Badnaam Gali, a series called Fatafat and also in Kanpuriye and all of his performances were awe-inspiring.
