Akshay Kumar has a knack for making movies which hits right where it makes you think. Off late, Kumar has been doing movies which are more on the social section side apart from a few comedies, one of which wasn’t a success, Housefull 4.
However, the Khiladi is all set to set the stage on fire with this comedy of horrors, Laxmmi Bomb, whose trailer is out and Akshay Kumar has nailed the look. 10 on 10 to his energy levels and the character changes in his role.
Laxmmi Bomb is not your ordinary story, but since the first ten seconds of the trailer, you’ll realize that there’s something different and quite entertaining about it. With the movie being a remake of the South Indian blockbuster Muni 2: Kanchana, Akshay Kumar’s Laxxmi Bomb seems to be taking the internet by the storm.
Starring Kiara Advani, Sharad Kelkar, Tusshar Kapoor, Muskan Khubchandani, Mir Sarwar, and others, the movie is set to release on Disney+Hotstar on November 9.
A few scenes in the trailer did look a bit scary, but expect more comedy than horror. The social angle to it is the transgender character that Akshay Kumar is playing, in itself is a big thing.
