In the last couple of years, Kajol has appeared on the silver screen several times, most of which have done well at the box office. Her recent role in Tanhaji, even though small, was also much appreciated. Now, looks like the Baazigar girl is all set to start the year with a bang with her web debut in an upcoming movie on Netflix, Tribhanga.
The trailer of Tribhanga is out and it looks quite promising enough. The movie stars a shining star Mithila Palkar who with her cute looks and killer curls has taken the OTT platform by storm. Another great addition to the cast is Tanvi Azmi who has barely ever disappointed us in the roles she has done in the past.
In the supporting cast has Kunaal Roy Kapoor who usually does a decent job in his roles. Talking a bit about the storyline, Tribhanga is a story of three women of the same family from three generations, with Tanvi Azmi aka Abhanga being the nani, Kajol aka Tribhanga being the mom, and Palkar aka Samabhanga, the daughter.
As far as the looks of the trailer are concerned, it does display a dysfunctional relationship of Kajol who is a classical dancer, with her mother who is a writer. The social issue drama seems to be an emotional ride and could turn out to be a good watch. The movie releases on January 15 on the OTT platform, Netflix.
While the movie has been produced under the Ajay Devgan films banner, the story has interestingly written by Renuka Shahane, which makes it all the more exciting to wait for this female centric drama.
Mithila Palkar started her career on web platforms, but it is Kajol who will mark her debut with Tribhanga. It will be interesting to see how this turns out to be.
